You Are For Me - Kari Jobe

So I have been unable to sleep much for the past week.  I have a lot on my mind and I just can't seem to "shut off" the thoughts!  Tonight I was led to listen to the song I have below, "You Are For Me" by Kari Jobe.  I wanted to share it with you all because of how much of an impact this song has had on me.  I know this song very well and I worship with it almost daily, but something about tonight was different. I'm not sure what it is, it just hit me hard.  A lot is going on in my life at the moment; uncertainty, incredible hurt, betrayal, being taken advantage of, loss of friendships, the list could go on (I may or may not share details in a later blog post, I haven't decided yet)...but in the midst of it all, I am reminded in this song, that Jesus is and always has been for me and not against me.  He has always loved me, and will continue to love me through all of the difficult times.  He's in it through the thick and thin.  I am working on letting ALL of my pain and frustration go and letting God take over and heal my heart, my emotions, and my mind.  In the past, I have been super great at letting go some of my pain and frustration, not all, but I am determined to change...I hope this song touches you as it has touched me. 

Nails

I just got my nails done this afternoon...I have never had a dark pink for the base before...I love it though!!!!! hehe :o) (can you tell I'm bored?) haha

Cupcake'd

So I finally finished my cupcakes!!!  I used my Pampered Chef muffin pan for the first time. Lyndi, my sister-in-law, had given it to me for Christmas but I haven't had a chance to try it out yet!  It was awesome!!!  Thank you again Lyndi!!!! :)  I am still trying to come up with official names for the flavors!  If you have any ideas, please let me know! :)

So today I really wanted to create a new cupcake flavor, or flavors.  I would not let myself do that until after I deep cleaned my kitchen, kind of backwards I know...but for me...I don't like to cook or bake in an untidy kitchen!  It drives me crazy!  Soooo I cleaned...hehe...look at my pretty kitchen!!!!! :o) ( pictures of my cupcake creations will come later, once they are all done...hehe)

These are two of my favorite pictures that were taken of Cody and I before Christmas :)  Growing up my family and I had professional pictures taken every year and I love that we did!  I want to continue that tradition with my family (even if we are only a family of 2 plus puppies as of now...haha)...oh goodness...that is weird saying "my family"!!!  Ah!  Anyways, here are the pictures :)

Weight Loss Progress :)

I am not even sure who is reading this blog...but...I want to post my progress! hehe  Cody and I had a date night last night and took some pictures and as I was looking at them today I realized, for the first time, that I have LOST WEIGHT!!!!! hehe :o)  YAY!  As some of you know...I got on some medication for women issues and I gained a bunch of weight and was not able to lose it, no matter WHAT I did :(  I started the HCG diet about three weeks ago and this is my progress so far...I still have a lot to lose, but it's a start! :)

Inception

Cody and I watched the movie Inception tonight with my Parents for the first time...and oh my goodness!!!!!  It was an incredible movie!  I highly recommend this to everyone to watch!  It is Rated PG-13 I believe and I don't remember there being any cursing besides one part...but even then it's not even a true curse word.  So yeah, for those of you who have never heard of Inception, there is a link to the trailer below! (once you get to the website just click on the button that says "Watch Trailer" :) )  If you decide to watch the movie you'll have to let us know what you thought of it!!!  Definitely a movie that we will be purchasing!!! :o)
