L'BRI Skin Care

It is official!  I am now an Independent Consultant with L'Bri Pure n' Natural skin care and make up products!  As many of you know, I was recently a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant for about 2 years, had used the products since I was 13 years old.  I am in NO way bashing Mary Kay in any way, I am simply explaining why I personally have chosen to switch skin care companies.  Like I said, I have been using the Mary Kay skin care and make up line for a super long time.  I would venture off and try other products but would ALWAYS return to Mary Kay.  They have great products that work really well.  A few months ago I noticed my skin started to change (age I figured) and the products I was using were not giving me the results I wanted/expected.  I first heard of L'BRI Pure n' Natural from my cousin, Tanya Goossen (love ya girl!).  She knew that I was a Mary Kay Consultant and she never once asked me to try the product.  I actually went to her and asked about it.  I loved the idea of it being natural and aloe vera based.  She mentioned some things for me to look for in my current skin care products, so I did, and boy was I surprised at what I was actually applying to my face and body!  It was crazy!  So, I decided to give it a try!  I mean, you pay $6.75 shipping and you get a week plus worth of the skin care trio (personalized)!  I didn't have much to lose.  After the FIRST morning that I used the products I could feel AND see an insane difference in my skin!  It felt "happy" and super super soft!  A couple of days later I used the Facial Masque sample that was given to me with the skin trio samples, and let me tell you...that masque is intense!  INCREDIBLE!  I have never used anything like it before in my life!  They're not joking when they say it's an instant face lift! :)  I used the product for a little bit over a week and was completely sold!  I wanted to try out the other skin care trios for the different skin types, and I loved them!  So, after a lot of prayer and thought, I have chosen to become an Indepenent Consultant for L'BRI Pure n' Natural products! :)  For those of you who are my Mary Kay clients, I will be contacting you individually!  I do not want you to feel forced to use L'BRI, I would like you to try it if you are willing, but no pressure :)  I will still place orders through Mary Kay for those of you who choose to stay with them :)  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me! :)  Below I have some information about L'BRI.

Happy Birthday Cody!

Cody celebrated his 25th birthday this weekend!  His actual birthday is April 3rd, but we celebrated all weekend! :)  Friday night Cody worked late, so I was home getting as much as I could ready for his birthday bash Saturday night.  Not everything went according to plan, so I had even MORE to get done Saturday before his party! haha  Saturday Cody worked early, which helped me get out of bed and get going.  I went to Walmart at about 6:30am, then waited around for the beauty supply store to open (I thought they opened at 7am not 8am, bummer, but I did get a Starbucks coffee!!! hehe), went home, baked 75 homemade cupcakes (two different flavors), colored my hair, decorated cupcakes, ran to my parents to start decorating, ran to pick up the pizza, got back to my parents house ( a couple of close friends/family were arriving) and set up the food and last minute decorations, then everybody showed up, I still am amazed that I got everything done that needed to be, before the party!!!  I definitely could not have done it all without the help from my Mama!  So, thank you Mama! hehe :o)  We had an absolute BLAST at the party!  Played ping pong, visited, had a Nerf Dart Gun war in my parents living room (which would have NEVER EVER happened when Justen and I were kids! lol  When I saw the darts flying I looked over at my Dad and he had a Nerf gun in his hand shooting darts, then I looked for my Mom and she was on the stairs ducking back and forth while shooting her Nerf gun...HAHA  It was awesome, everyone was laughing hysterically, I WISH that I would have captured that on video!), ate pizza, cupcakes, etc.   I didn't take as many pictures and videos as I had hoped to because I was running around "managing" the party :)  Cody had a blast and that was all I cared about! :)  Sunday we went to our Starting Point class at church, went to Red Robin so Cody could get his free burger, then went home took a three hour long nap (much needed).  We had planned on going to Olive Garden for dinner, but after our nap all that Cody wanted to do was spend the evening at home with "his girls" (me and our puppies).  So we went to pick up pizza, bread sticks and soda and had a great night "in" watching NCIS and talking :)  It was SO nice to spend all of Sunday with my husband!  He has been working a lot lately, so I don't get to see much of him, let alone spend time with him.  Needless to say we all had a fabulous weekend!  Thank you to ALL who attended Cody's party and those that called to wish him a Happy Birthday on his birthday! :o)  Below are some videos and pictures of his party Saturday :)
